A former monastery is now a hotel. It looks old-fashioned and very charming. Outside the house looks very warm and comfortable but inside it feels somehow cold. That's modern architecture. Have a look at the photos.

Alzheimer's disease

I can't remember when it started. But it happens that I forget things now and then. Sometimes really important things. I was sure I had to go to the dentist on Tuesday. And Monday in the afternoon I got a phone call asking why I did not appear to the appointment that morning. Oops, not good. Fortunately they gave me another one for today and this time I was there on time. I have to do surgery in October to get rid of my wisdom teeth. And after that I won't be more wisely and forget even more things ;-)
Perhaps I should start writing down every silly thing for not forgetting it at all. But where was the sheet I annotated it? I definitely need my good old Agenda back...
Specially when I start school again. What else would I do in boring lessons? Decorating my Agenda of course. Or checking what I forgot to do last week. And it's also funny to write stories down. I still have my old ones from school and sometimes I run over the pages and remember the good old days. Yes, life was so easy then.

Home alone - not this week!

Instead of going to work I went to the airport to pick up a friend coming to visit me. As usual the plane was late so I had to wait for a while. Then he came and we went home. We visited some places near Zurich, he had to discover Zurich's beauty on his own (because I had to work) and today we went on a high mountain. Although weather was not too good it was not bad up there. The view was acceptable and the mountains were quite impressive.
I'm having a good time and enjoy it to have him here since he is a very good friend. It's great!
